From the suggester "This photo was the first one I saw from his street photography, and I instantly loved it. The man's eyes is a fun story in it self. While his expressions says 'Do you have to?' his eyes say 'Go on, I dare you' - like a split personality. The depth of field is also mesmerizing, and I love the whole concept of it." On the streets of Paris II

Description

One of the many street artists around Paris. This guy played an accordion on the metro (hence, the people in the background.).

This was cut from the series though as this is more of a portrait/editorial picture than a real street moment. But never the less, I thought I'd share it with the world!

I definitely like the toning, it always works well with streetphotography, giving it a special look, even if it is an everyday scene that is portrayed.
I really like his expression, the wrinkles around his eyes make him very friendly. Like someone who has gone through a lot, but still takes things with a smile.
I think the depth of field is a little to shallow, I would have liked to see his whole face sharp (because like this it looks a little weird proportional.
I really like the composition of the work, seeing the people in the background also works for an image like this. Maybe moving him up a little bit in the frame would have helped though, also because the light in the upper right corner is a little distracting.
But I really do like the image.
